wOBA Calculator

I’ve posted a wOBA Calculator over at The Hardball Times, so you won’t have to always go to FanGraphs or StatCorner to get your wOBA data.  Just plug in the numbers and you’re good to go.

I’m hoping to continue my Post Season Awards series soon; aside from academics and putting together the wOBA calculator, I’ve been developing a somewhat simple forecasting system (more complex than the Marcels; less complicated than, say, CHONE), that will hopefully help us shed some light as to which players the Giants should pursue for next season and beyond, and estimate what their likely market value is.

Very cool. Excellent work — this sure beats the old hacked together spreadsheet I was using in the past. Thanks!
