NLCS, Game Two

October 18, 2010

Well, that wasn’t much fun.  Jonathan Sanchez pitched six innings, giving up five hits, two earned runs, three walks and seven strikeouts.  The Giants’ offense decided not to show up tonight, posting only one run- another Cody Ross home run- and nothing more against Roy Oswalt.  They drew three walks and struck out nine times against the former Astros’ ace.

Matt Cain takes the mound against Cole Hamels on Tuesday night at AT&T Park.  Let’s hope Cain continues his dominance.
