The Frustration at another LOLineup
**So I’ve been lacking the posts for a while like I often do, but I’m working on a couple things that will be coming in the off-season, one of which is about double plays and will have a lot of information. In the meantime, I’m going to make a few more posts, although typically shorter in length**

So, I don’t think much needs to be explained here. You don’t really need to understand any type of advanced statistics to realize what’s wrong with this lineup. Bruce Bochy has created a lineup that’s just poor.
I understand giving your starters a rest, especially when during a stretch of a long roadtrip. But you don’t sit two of your most productive players in one game (Pat Burrell and Andres Torres), as well as another player with tremendous talent in Pablo Sandoval. Maybe you sit Andres Torres, whose numbers against lefties this season (.303 wOBA) have been below average. But to sit Burrell, who has mashed lefties in his career as well, and also Pablo Sandoval, who despite his struggles, should still be playing every day. This doesn’t even cover the continued presence of Jose Guillen, as well as a mightily struggling Juan Uribe and the ever awful Aaron Rowand.
I’m not going to over-analyze this anymore, but you cannot afford to put lineups out there this time of year when trying to eliminate a 2.5 game deficit in the division. But as a fan, it is indeed frustrating watching the lack of baseball intelligence from Bruce Bochy.
